The One Accord Singles Ministry meets once a month for fellowship, encouragement, and to pray for one another. We have Bible Studies topical discussions, retreats, and conferences, along with scheduled outings with singles groups from other Churches.  Our expectations and responsibilities are:

  • To produce spiritual growth

  • To understand contentment in our singleness

  • To realize God plan for our lives

  • To obey and apply the Word of God to our lives daily

  • To encourage other singles; our youth, senior saints, and people in our community

1Thessalonians 5:11 (NKJ)

“Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The Usher Ministry at Greater Northwest Baptist Church is a unit of faithful believers who have committed themselves to serve the Lord.  We are dedicated to the commission that the Lord has called us to perform.

We provide an environment conducive to worship and praise; welcoming our visitors and the membership alike.  Whether adult or youth, an usher is required to demonstrate friendliness, helpfulness, respectfulness, being prayerful, understanding, thoughtful and inconspicuous.

We are here to serve at the pleasure of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Ps 84:10 NKJ)

The mission of the Senior Saints Ministry is to display continued expressions of love and togetherness while engaging in special activities, community outreach, sharing life experiences and growing in wisdom and knowledge through Christ Jesus Our Lord, who strengthens us.

Psalms 71:18 (NKJ)

“Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”
